As a renowned industry expert, author, and spokesperson, Graff contributes to BlackRidge his expertise on security architecture, risk and compliance for the active defense of enterprise networks and information systems, including for the world’s financial exchanges and critical infrastructure.
“I am familiar with hundreds of technical products in the information security sphere. BlackRidge Technology has the potential to reach the top rank, to have a real impact on the security of our critical infrastructure. I hope to help them realize that potential,” said Graff. “BlackRidge is a young company with strong leadership, a world-class technical staff and strong intellectual property. They are also, uniformly, good folks to do business with. BlackRidge has the patents on first packet authentication of network sessions to enable identity-based policy and attribution prior to allowing access to network and cloud resources. It’s an approach of staggering elegance with far-reaching implications.”
BlackRidge Technology is a network and cyber security company that provides a game changing cyber and network security solution that stops cyber-attacks and protects against insider threats by cloaking servers and segmenting network and cloud resources from unidentified and unauthorized users.
“We are thrilled to tap the expertise of Mark Graff as we expand our product in the commercial markets,” said John Hayes, CTO of BlackRidge Technology. “Mark’s passion to change the current cyber-attack dynamic is strongly aligned with BlackRidge Technology providing identity-based protection against the most determined attacks.”
Most recently Graff served as Chief Information Security Officer for NASDAQ. He was responsible for operations related to securing the organization’s networks and information. He also founded the Cyber Security Working Group of the World Federation of Exchanges, the first forum to allow for communication amongst information security heads of the world’s exchanges.
